Healthy Coping Skills & Management Group
It goes without being said that this year has been a particularly challenging one for many of us. As a result, you may be feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. With The Youth Council's Healthy Coping Skills and Stress Management Group, you will be provided with the tips, tools, and techniques to help you during the times when life experiences become a little too much.
Led by The Youth Council's Mental Health Counselor, Russell Schaechtle, MA, this group will help you find grounding and calm through the mindful movement practice of yoga and other various exercise techniques. In addition to that, you will be in a group of peers who's experiences may be very similar to yours. This can all help you to establish new bonds, and ways to process and cope with big feelings.
We welcome you to join us for either one or both sessions, and let us provide you with guidance and support by help you obtain healthy coping skills and ways to manage stress.
